A Dame at The Governor’s Ball – Casey Freeman
Fashionistas don’t follow dress codes. And so, Casey Freeman went against festival tradition, wearing a printed sarong-turned-tube top and a sweeping black skirt to the Governor’s Ball Music Festival last weekend. Standing out among a crowd of dirty dirty concert-goers, the MTV rockstar ROCKED a look that was both goth-chic and hippie all at once. Before the Mac Miller set, she told us that all of her detail pieces were vintage save those $1 sunglasses…because they were from the street, natch. The entire look is versatile (fall, spring, summer, concert, party, afterparty), aspirational (work that asymmetrical cut!) and practical. Just after Miller’s set, homegirl got down with the dirty party set with no regard to her clothing…because fashionistas, well, they like to party.
