James Bond knows a beauty when he sees one. Rocking skin-tight outfits and wavy tresses, Halle Berry, Denise Richards, and Eva Green all fell for his sexy. But it's about time that Bond get some arm candy with a bit more edge, a dash of sass -  a Dana Hurwitz, for example. Founder of BOND Hardware, Hurwitz is pushing the envelope when it comes to jewelry, creating statement pieces for the kid who wants to stand out. Near NYU's Washington Square, we got a look at the S&M'y "Hitch Ring" she created for the line, and got to gawk at her garter leggings and shocking red shorts. The Gaga-green locks bring attention to her stunning face, and give her more reason to whip her hair back and forth. The Bond girl always has a deadly secret weapon, after all...

We New Yorkers love our coffee. It brightens our day and gives us reason to actually smile about 40 degree weather in November. But when a good cup of Joe isn't just around the corner, we rely on people like Al Baio to keep us grinning amidst the gloom. You may remember that we caught the artist and backpack-lover in the rain last summer in a similarly two-toned get-up, but these shockingly yellow thigh-high socks take the cake! Over the weekend, Al Baio chose to rock a pair of matching yellow shoes, saying her foot candy was inspired by the great Mickey Mouse (see her cardigan for more)! An MFA graduate student with a love for bright hues, backpacks and storybook best friends? Ahhhh, refreshing.

Adorbs with a capital A, that's Amber Nicolette. We met the cuter than cute fashionista in SoHo, where she strutted her long legs atop platform wedges (with ankle socks, obvs).  Tying up an oversized vintage top from Buffalo Exchange, Amber created a patterned mini that went ever-so-well with her grey cuffed short shorts and served to  show off those....yes, legs! The glimmer from her gold chained belt was a cute touch and the radiance from those red-tinged tresses had us running for the dye. So, yes, this chick's Amazing...with a capital A.

If you have legs like Florencia, you better stomp all over this damn City. Far from her native Brazil, where stomping's kinda expected, Florencia rocked SoHo last week in a look that was simple but absolutely striking. In fringed vintage shorts riding high, a v-neck white tee and a classic fedora, the Brazilian beauty may have very well been a model off duty. But in a rush, she was short on words. As she strutted away, her silver-buckled vintage belt shimmied along with her shorts, giving passers-by a reason to stare. And we just performed our own stomp of jealousy, right there on the corner of Prince and Broadway. Ah, to be so perfect.

In weather this scorching, New Yorkers prefer to look more like Lawrence Bolido than Brendan Stampley. But Stampley, a San Francisco It-Boy, would have it no other way.  We spotted him in Union Square buying accessories on the street as it is street style that really moves him. On a short trip to the concrete jungle from the west coast, the design student caught our eye as he absolutely werked an American Apparel ensemble, pairing a sheer top with high-cut shorts. But even more interesting were his accessory additions from other it-boys Oliver Peoples, Marc Jacobs and Alexander Wang (see glasses, gold and bag).  Before heading back west, Stampley passed on his Tumblr and it's unlike anything we've ever seen. But being the guy that he is, we figure he'd have it no other way.

Forget the rules and take risks, that's Griffin's motto. The style maven takes cues from his favorite menswear designer Damir Doma, wearing well-tailored but semi-draping threads that make a statement. We caught up with him confidently pairing navy shorts with gray long johns, a tye dyed sweater, and blue suede kicks with fringe—if that's not a style statement, we don't know what is. The entire look is a refreshingly colorful change from the sea of mute or black pieces taking over NYC this Winter. Breaking rules? It's the new black. Take notes.

Who-wears-short-shorts?! We couldn’t help but notice Neysha sporting some floral printed shorts that she balanced with red-hot, knee-high socks and pointed patent leather oxfords. This fashion major has it all - from her side-swept funky haircut to her mix-and-match dangly earrings that spice up her outfit. Now that’s what we call getting some bang for your buck!

Shea's so damn cute the wind almost swept her across the NYU campus late last week!  Lucky for us, Shea stayed pinned down in a gorgeous vintage pink turban from one of Austin's amazing vintage shops. This self-described 'grunge-hippie' totally lived up to her name in lace up combat boots (see here), a simple H&M vest and military canvas bag - a perfectly bohemian look for early in the season.  The Soffe shorts are light and cool - so cool, in fact, that she started a trend of pinning 'em up to show some neon color underneath!  Nevermind the wind, Shea swept us off our feet!

Talk about eye candy, Hannah’s bits + pieces are sweeter than Reese’s!  She's a fashion/marketing grad, who knows how to add serious punch to a simple get-up. Those red tortoiseshell sunglasses are an NY buy, and the fish necklace is a vintage-inspired wonder (note the bejewled accents).  But the shorts are the item we adore - South American inspired prints on woven cotton - comfy and colorful for the heat.  Hannah, girl, you look delicious!
