Making The Locals Stare – Dham Srifuengfung

There are many, many – and then toss in a few more – reasons to visit The City : the museums, the pizza, the… shopping. But while on vacay, Londoner Dham Srifuengfung skipped out on NYC’s touristy haunts in favor of its secret sartorial spots. Playing fashion sightseer, the Brit donned supple desert boots, too-cool-for-your-typical-tourist shades, and an abstracted printed T-shirt from Wrong Weather. But let’s be real – Dham’s 3.1 Phillip Lim lambskin shorts are what made even the slickest locals stare…luxe! sheen! sass! Dham may have stopped us to ask for the best route to (where else?) a local SoHo boutique, but we gotta say this out-of-towner was the one giving all the style direction.

Gwinnett County Tax Commissioner Katherine Sherrington announced the appointment of Anthony Buffum as Motor Vehicles Department Director, replacing Charles Martin who retired on July 31 after more than 20 years in that position. go to web site gwinnett county tax commissioner

Buffum previously served as the Senior Branch Manager at the Tax Commissioner’s Lawrenceville Tag Office. He has served the Tax Commissioner’s Office for the past eight years in several management positions, and has more than 30 years of management experience in multi-unit business enterprises.

“I am strongly committed to our mission and dedicated to providing the highest level of customer service to each and every customer,” Buffum said. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Suffolk University in Boston, and is certified as a Public Administration Manager by the University of Georgia.

The Tax Commissioner also announced the appointment of Richard Steele to the Lawrenceville Senior Manager position. Richard was previously the manager of the Snellville Tag Office. Prior to joining the Tax Commissioner’s office, Steele worked for seven years as Operations Manager at the University of Georgia for the University’s Campus Transit System, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He then worked for a year at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as a budget analyst for the Global AIDS Program. Models aren’t a rare sight in NYC; top models are. So when we ran into Georgie Badiel looking gorgeous in SoHo, we couldn’t help but gush. Her Phillip Lim dress is African-inspired and its shockingly bright neon hue highlights her skin tone beautifully. But it’s more than the dress we love, the turban is a must-have accessory in our lookbook (though she swears she’s just wearing it ‘for her hair’). A former Miss Africa who just walked in Halston, Phillip Lim and DVF shows, Georgie’s more than just a Top Model…this chick’s our role model.
