Qiu Qiu is just so damn c-uuute c-uuute. Strolling down Astor Place in head to toe thrift items from Shanghai, the menswear designer took a few minutes to give us her backstory. She’s in the City for a year, crafting … Read More

Just the mere sight of Jaclyn Hodes made us weak. She looked like a City angel in a floor-length stunner last week; the only thing more jaw-dropping than the dress were her shoes. Hidden underneath the white cotton hem, stood … Read More

Diggin’ Diggy – Diggy Lloyd

Roll out the caution tape, our girl Diggy Lloyd’s on the scene. The 23 year old photographer stopped traffic (and construction) in SoHo last week with her vibrantly color-blocked dress from Beacon’s Closet in Brooklyn. A creative, Lloyd’s mismatched pockets fit her quirky and cool personality, though she didn’t go overboard, toning down the fun up top with some laid-back Chucks down below. Chick looks so cool, we’d hang with her all day. Hey, we may just hang outside of one of her pouches like a baby kangaroo! Was that too creative? Ugh…fine.

A Fashion Firework – Vera Balyura

In a city so crowded it’s often tough to tell whether it’s the people or the pavement moving, standing out can be a challenge for any style maven or “must-have-it” addict. Then there’s Vera Balyura, a chick who’s never made standin’ out and lookin’ good seem so damn easy! With her fearless attitude and flair for pulling off a statement piece – or several – this jewelry designer had us hooked the moment we spotted her pop-of-red American Apparel vintage dress rounding a corner in SoHo. The leopard Keds by Opening Ceremony over feline-inspired socks by The Sock Man sealed the deal, convincing us that whatever it is, this girl not only had it, but had to show. it. off. Check out her line of silver, architectural jewelry (www.verameat.com) for your own personal piece of our latest obsession’s quirky confidence!
