Stomping through the streets of SoHo, Michael Cole proves that there's a thin line between art and fashion. When the two disciplines are mixed in equal parts,the 16 year street style maven shows that the results can be EPIC. Cole's style influences are culled from the arts (Basquiat, et al) and it shows. His black sequined shirt, Doc Martens, and Haring harem pants are all part of the weekly look - an urban style canvas of sorts.  The New Jersey native's heading across the pond shortly to study fashion in London town. There are those who let labels define their style. Others, like Jai-Quan, let art relay the fashion message. He's a Brooklyn 20-something that we spent time with in SoHo, chatting about personal style and that one-of-a-kind jacket. The varsity jacket, designed by Ron Bass, has got Basquiat written all over it from the iconic crown to the adorning paintbrush and speckled sleeves.
