Remember when billionaire business owner David Siegel confirmed he’d readily fire employees if Obama gets a second term? Well, during a June conference call with National Federation of Independent Businesses, Romney supported Siegel (albeit indirectly) saying that business owners should advise employees on how to vote. Would you rather french fries or Prada shoes? Well, the owners at Milan’s Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II shopping center clearly rather the latter. The luxury mall has chosen to open up a second boutique instead of a brand spankin’ new McDonalds. Now, McD’s is suing the owners for $31.5 million, citing that Ronald and crew were not given the “right of first refusal on a new rental contract.” With neighbors like Louis Vuitton and Gucci, we doubt the fast-food chain will be missed.
