The Top 10 Best Moments From Food Network’s Wine And Food Festival 2012

This past weekend, Food Network took over Pier 54 for the annual Wine + Food Festival, where reps from around the globe served up nibbles, flights, and shots of goodness to thousands of gourmands. Here are the top 10 moments from our (very tipsy) experience:

TAO + LAVO Make Great Food Too

Not every celeb-obsessed hot-spot has an equally hot restaurant, except if you’re talking LAVO (the Italian eatery who served up perfect mini Kobe meatballs this weekend) or TAO (the Asian hot-spot whose Spicy Tuna rolls were out of this WORLD). So next time you’re dancing ’til the world ends, hit up the takeout counter at both of these spots. #fancymunchies

The Best Date Tips From Delta: Eat Dark Chocolate With Your Red Wine

The guys over at the Delta booth gave us a valuable tip to use throughout #cuffinseason: Pair your dry reds with dark chocolate for a tasty date desert. ;)

The Only Way To Hold Your Glass This Holiday Season: Like A Necklace

We won’t judge you, go ahead and make these wine glass necklaces ‘a thing’ at this weekend’s rager.

The Best Way To Fake It ‘Til You Make It In The Kitchen

Can’t cook? No worries! Just pair a can of Victoria’s Francese with pasta for that authentic Italian taste!

The Best Homesick Solution

It’s official: Short ribs  with polenta from Chelsea’s Pounds & Ounces will replace our own mom’s home-cooking this winter.

The Best Red Wine Over $20

Down to spend over $20 on a red wine this winter? We really loved Kendall-Jackson Creek Reserve’s Cabernet Sauvignon at $50. Date night, anyone?

The Tastiest Juice Cleanse

Over the Beyonce cleanse? Replace your lunch with the Blue Print Cleanse ($10) for a delicious and refreshing filler

Best Way To Get Tipsy, Guilt-Free

If you’re still counting calories while at the bar, settle down with Bethenney Frankel’s Skinny Girl. We tried it, and at half the cals, it’s pretty damn good.

Best Way To Soak Up Alcohol In Between Party Spots: Sons Of Essex Noodles

After one too many shots, we’re thankful for LES hotspot, Sons of Essex. It’s Asian noodle mix might have been the single-most filling and delicious meal we had all day.

Food Network’s Swag Bag

It was like Whole Foods in a bag! Food, cooking utensils, gift certificates! Amazing.
