But instead of receiving love over the totalllyyyy D.I.Y-able manicure, she’s dealing with backlash over the lavish nail design. Women Smuggle Cocaine Into JFK In Their Weaves (Photo Via: Getty)  During an early Sunday morning flight, two women flying into NYC from Guyana were detained after federal agents spotted the ladies rockin’ some suspiciously tall weave.        Turns out the women were importing cocaine and had to be sent to a medical facility after Feds were unable to remove the packages sewn to their scalps. Ouch. A kilo of cocaine was eventually found, and while Makeeba Graham is free on $100,000 bail, Kiana Howell remains in custody. (Via: The Smoking Gun)

Republican Mayor Receives Hate Mail

Mia Love, the African-American mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah received hate mail recently that included a photo her husband, herself and a photoshopped hooded Ku Klux Klan member with an aborted fetus. Scary. Love released a statement saying she’s comfortable in her own skin and won’t allow hate mail to get in between her run against Democratic Rep, Jim Matheson for Utah’s 4th Congressional District seat. Utah police are currently investigating the hate crime.
