Heritage 1960‘s founder and creative director, Enyinne Owunwanne, caught our eye in Soho the other day with a smile as brilliant as her gold accessories. After a night job at a vintage store in Harlem inspired her to pursue a career in fashion, this savvy entrepreneur got her Masters from FIT in Global Fashion Management, worked as a US Business Development Manager at London-based trend-forecaster Worth Global Style Network, and now holds the title of HBIC at Heritage 1960–a store that both curates and markets African fashion. When we spotted her she was wearing jewelry and a look from the shop! Whoever thinks African fashion is only kente cloth, Owunwanne’s got a few surprises for you.

I love her look from head to toe, but what I love even more is this girls drive! Great story and great way to rep Africa.
