Adidas Pulls New Jeremy Scott Kicks From Shelves, Are They Racist?

The JS Roundhouse Mids, the newest addition to Adidas’ archive of zany Jeremy Scott shoe collabs, have been pulled before they even hit the shelves! Much criticism is accusing the design, featuring a pair of shackles, of referencing slavery and being racially insensitive. But Adidas claims the shoe design are so hot, fashionistas won’t want to let go of ‘em. On its Facebook page, a rep wrote: “Got a sneaker game so hot, you lock your kicks to your ankles?” So, what do you think? Are the Roundhouse Mids just an instance of creativity gone wrong…and would you buy ‘em?!
