In my experience, when my grass is healthy, there are less violets. I recommend you focus on your soil and turf to keep the violets under control, so they don?t continue to spread each year. If you?re not against using herbicides, you can apply it in the fall. You?ll need to add spreader-sticker because violet plants are waxy and won?t absorb the herbicide well.
