My name is Faith and I’m here to share a little NY love and style. I figure before I do that, I should tell you a little more about me.
If you pause while talking to me, I’ll probably have picked up a book in the meantime – my addiction is that severe. I watch old Jem and the Hologram episodes on youtube. Two pink starbursts in a row excite me. Nothing is better than getting to know a new city on my own. I secretly wish I were a carnival star in my past life. Movies from the 1940’s fascinate me. Anything with Rita Hayworth is enough to occupy me for a few hours. A good pair of cat-eye glasses is a godsend and I live for NY halal trucks.
Defining my style has proven to be tricky so suffice it to say that my style aspiration is to wear what I love; I’m not too picky beyond that.
My fashion inclinations have lead me to believe that in past lives I have probably been all of the following:
Native American princess, ringleader, senorita, pink power ranger, gypsy, ice skater, Vegas showgirl, gothic vampire bride, harlequin, 90’s slacker and roller disco chick.
And so I’ll leave you with a song to remind you to make new friends (in this case new songs) but keep the old.
